Marlins OPS against LHP is 100 points higher (.776) than it is against RHP (.673) This is no time to reward your buddies or someone who used to be a postseason stud. I heart Jon like everyone else here but come on. I do at least feel somewhat confident that he will be on a short leash, and if he is yanked we have solid options to cover innings. But it might be too late by then. Give me Lester over Mills and Adbert’s first playoff appearance. Those guys can be ready to come in out of the pen, if needed.

The game is on ABC, fwiw. But guessing it’s also available on ESPN streaming as well. I don’t really care or prefer what way they go, but I’d bet Hendricks goes Game 1. He’ll be on 7 days rest (don’t know if you if you want him on even more rest Thursday), Yu is regular rest Wednesday and extra day Thursday so getting him 1 extra day wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Damn Adbert. Hopefully they are aggressive with using him in the wild card round. In the DS/CS he should be starting over Mills when a 4th starter is needed.
