  1. I didn't do that but I picked them in my survivor pools and also bet on them to win
  2. People really need to calm down a bit and think with a rational brain
  3. I see no possible way that at this point anything is a given...nothing should be surprising. This team has been consistently inconsistent all season long and people have been moving the goalposts along with all season long. Ok
  4. Oh well, still going to win the division and we can clinch in either Milwaukee or St. Louis now which will be fun
  5. Attending this one, let's not be a sucky bunch of sucks you MF'ers
  6. The labrum tear is still the kiss of death for pitchers right?
  7. Fixed that for you, homie. And are also murderers*
  8. Personally I'm shocked the team playing Chris Taylor and Chase Utley, amongst others, everyday with a tandem of broken pitchers failed to become the best team of all time
  9. Well that's just silly, idk if joking. I'm guessing these ~100 PAs are the outlier and the good hitter who's put up 20+ WAR in not even 3 full seasons and is still hitting .257/.375/.456 w/RISP for his career (even with these shitty ~100 PAs) is going to still be a good hitter with RISP. If anything we are about to see him hit like .350/.475/.550 w/RISP for the rest of the year.
  10. he's been hitting #2 all year and had awful schwarber hitting leadoff for like what, 1/3 of the year? Yeah I'm thinking a big part of this is the shitty OBP guys who've mostly been in front of him all year Schwarber and/or Zobrist have to of been hitting in front of him for at least half his games if I had to guess. Edit: I just looked it up, he ranks 80th for PAs with RISP in all of MLB and 68th in total games where he had RISP. That has to be the damn near lowest ranking for a guy who hits 2nd or 3rd every game and also considering his team ranks inside the top 5 for team OBP and he's played in all but 9 games this year.
  11. Bryant has played in 132 games but in only 86 of those has a runner been in scoring position for him, that seems low (total of 128 PAs). The RISP numbers for him aren't good but it seems like he's also had an abnormal amount of fewer PAs/situations with RISP to capitalize for his overall RISP to normalize to where they should be for the caliber of hitter he is and where he hits in the order.
  12. I'm prepared for possibly the biggest hacks I've ever seen out of a Javy here
  13. Indeed. He'll be out of the league in a year or 2, tho. He horsefeathering sucks as a hitter and is already 27.
  14. Nice job Lackey, you big dumb animal. Now score some runs you bums
