Yeah it shouldn’t be. Last year at this time going through the rotation the 3rd starter was what Anderson, Lackey or Butler? Tomorrow Yu horsefeathering Darvish is taking the mound.

It’s okay guys, apparently Hurdle didn’t see Javy “own it” in his comments after the game before he commented. What a piece of horsefeathers, stupid, ignorant ass of man. Hurdle’s way of thinking is everything that’s wrong with baseball.

Pirates are in town 2nd to last series of the year, I may have to get tickets by their dugout to chirp Hurdle and ask him how his respecting the game went when we are on our way to another postseason and he’s on his way home with his greatest accomplishment in Pittsburgh is winning a WC game.

I turned it off but did the Bryant HBP look at all intentional? I saw on gameday ball 1 was way inside then he got hit 2 pitches later.

The pitching has been mostly good, especially the bullpen. Who knows what, if any, real affects Hickey has had but there's some things to like with how Q has seemed to be attacking a little different so far. I don't know if there's any saving for Wilson and there's been some clunky starts but overall I'm fairly happy with the pitching. Cishek has also been really good and Hickey seemed to have fixed/fine tuned him going back to last year in Tampa.

Agree, I get since it's only April you don't necessarily want to manage like a playoff game but the game was still in reach if we get out of it at 3-1 going into the bottom half. Almost need to have someone warming up with Wilson when you plan to bring him in so as soon as he appears to be losing it he gets yanked.
