Good god, he’s been miserable. Did Joe start Caratini because Tseng is familiar? I feel like maybe you should have an ERA under 10 before getting a personal catcher. Lol Brent Suter just hit a tape measure shot off Kluber. I think because Contreras caught 14 on Sunday and last night. Also day game after night game tomorrow so Contreras was probably sitting tonight or tomorrow out. Let Tseng get a guy with some familiarity and also get the lefty/right splits on offense doing that.

And so they did. I'm sure pitching at GABP will cure what ails him. That’s like the worst place for him to go with the ballpark and their inability to develop/work on any pitching. I’m pretty shocked he didn’t end up on one of the West Coast teams with a bigger park (which is like all of them).

He’s fine. With the off day Thursday I wouldn’t mind seeing him get off tomorrow too just to make sure. Urena is also the profile of RHP he could stand to be shielded against when he needs off anyways.

I’ve seen nothing but players and coaches saying good things about him pretty much since he’s been up in terms of locker room things. Maybe it’s just putting up a front but I think he’s plenty liked and not a deterrent in the locker room.

I’m just glad we didn’t call up that bum Davis to be his personal catcher again, like horsefeathering Tseng deserves and needs his own catcher.

Oh yeah I’m all in on Bryce. Just can see how Machado could make a little more sense, Bryce is the better (potentially much better) player and adding the best talent should win out over whatever they could get for Russell to add Machado over signing just Bryce.

I think it certainly should be seriously considered. Bryce is the better player but Machado might be a better fit depending upon on how Russell finishes the year along with the other outfielders. Machado let’s you trade Russell for something useful presumably. Harper could force you to sell a guy off for the sake of it and not getting much back. Or say horsefeathers it and sign Machado, trade Russell+ pieces to dump Heywards salary (Russell, Monty and Heyward to someone?) and also sign Bryce.
