He put up an .899 in 06/2016 and a .846 in 07/2016, bookended by .551 and .594. That's about as hot as he's been, as I can tell, and I forgot how good he was last year...851 OPS in the second half. It's not the 'ideal' type of a high OPS, but I'll more than take it. he was probably being shielded a lot more in those stretches though. dude's got a 158 wRC+ and .405 wOBA through 132 PA right now. basically playing everyday. oh and his strikeout rate is 19.7% LOL. I think parts of it are definitely real (he’s definitely not as free swinging anymore like the K rate shows) but he still isn’t walking at all so he’s going to have to keep getting a lucky with the batted balls to stay all-star level productive I’d guess
