    We deserved all this to happen with Joe’s stupidity the last 2 innings and having Javy lead off today

    I really value that defense in big games, though, and especially when the offense isn't scoring much. The hope is that you put Javy at No. 8, get his great defense at second, and let all the more well-rounded hitters do the damage needed. Zobrist is plenty good defensively at 2B, vs RHP we don’t need two pitchers hitting the lineup. Javy can go get himself a comfortable seat on the bench for them.

    Zobrist better be at 2B for every game in the Brewer series. Javy can come in and play defense or pinch run if we have a lead.

    Seriously Javy offensively, especially vs RHP, is a fraud and built on unsustainable things. He’s not a major league hitter right now.

    Syndergaard had a set back and isn’t starting Sunday now and Familia also went to the DL with a shoulder injury. Mets wouldn’t let the other pitcher injuries steal their shine today.

    .870 OPS vs rhp yeah he's actually been a lot better vs rhp than lhp so far this year. I’m letting my recency bias affect me a bit too much but he also is at like 1% BB rate and 28% k rate vs RHP

    LOL, I just remembered the time that fan ran on the field to the mound to presumably fight Howry, when Howry was pitching like Howry and then when he got there he realized he made a terrible mistake

    I’m perfectly fine with the pull. You pull Q to avoid that HR and Cishek is less likely to give that up. Q was 3rd time thru as well.

    KB was running on the 3-2 pitch to Rizzo which turned out to be ball 4, they had a shift on still with the 3B playing SS and taking the throw to 2B, nobody was covering third so KB got up after he slid in and ran to 3B

    This whole thing is weird. It is. Like what, the guy was scared he’d get hurt if he threw like he has his entire career so he changed things but Mike and the fellas totally aren’t worried.
