  1. Yeah it was crazy. I don't know a lot about rehabbing injuries but wasn't Schwarber's comeback in the same season after shredding his knee crazy too? Not in the same category/analogous as a labrum for a pitcher? It was relatively crazy and he was still limited (couldn’t play the field), but knee injuries have come such a long ways in recent years with surgeries, medicine, rehab, etc that the window to come back is shrinking/has shrunk. Peterson came back from a blown out knee in like 8-9 months and was back to being a NFL RB. Shoulder surgeries/rehab for pitchers especially aren’t anywhere near where knee injury surgeries/rehab have evolved to.
  2. He hit a ball to RF hard, it was an out but it was hit hard just short of the warning track. His one hit was due to Shaw having the range of a boulder
  3. If you combine Willy’s and Russell’s XBH the number is somehow negative
  4. So Bote is also a base running savant like Bryant and Baez
  5. Figure out a way Bryant or Bote can play there and ship Almora to the sun
  6. Yeah it was crazy.

  8. Hitters only meeting paying dividends again! I assume Chili was locked out
  9. Two dudes aren't making breaking or breaking this team. Correct, we’re winning the division without them
  10. Chacin’s stuff sucks today. Score some horsefeathering runs
  11. Make up an injury (if he already doesn’t have one) and DL Q and let Chavez or Underwood get a start or 2.
  12. I hope you are right, because I agree. Id like to keep Schwarber, its just he has so much more value than any of the other guys we'd be willing to trade and could actually get us something exciting back. I really don't know if Schwarber would have more value than Happ. Considering control, positional versatility, etc. There's almost certainly teams that would value them differently and prefer one over the other, but I don't think it's a crazy idea to think Happ is the better/more valuable trade piece.
