Oh well. Series win, the guys got rest and bullpen guys that matter are in good shape for the weekend. KB is back tomorrow or Friday and we get some bullpen arms up Saturday to help mitigate using the good guys if the game isn’t close and we went 7-2 in this Tigers, Reds, Mets stretch which is more than you can expect.

Forget everything about Chili ball. He seems so stuck in between wanting to drive and pull the call and just make contact and go the other way.

I didint realize that. His numbers dont look horrible in Iowa, tho. They are prepping him for a Sept call up. He def has better stuff than Mills and he probably is destined to be a relief pitcher in MLB. I think Mills has a deeper repertoire and has a better SP profile, he’s not special but can see him being a fine low to mid 4 era guy for a season.

Yes Im not sold on that idea at all As a starter he’s better, Underwood has been transitioned to the bullpen in Iowa the last few weeks too.

Q? Yeah Tommy shouldn’t make it. Smyly is starting somewhere in the minors tonight or tomorrow. He could be a bullpen option still.

Almora will only play vs Lefties in the playoffs. LaStella might not even make the roster. I yearn for this optimism in Joe. I mean he’s proven it lately when he’s gone with the A lineup, Almora isn’t in there and that’s without KB.

Pretty much. Still think Mills can be a decent MLB pitcher, the stuff is decent and moves and a nice repertoire. He just doesn’t have much margin for error on the command, he needs to hit spots because it isn’t over powering stuff. Hopefully he settles in and gives us 5-6 innings and 6 or less runs. That should give us a chance.
