    With the conditions I’m not taking much away from today’s start I didn't see the first inning, but the dong this inning would have been a dong any way, and none of the other stuff has been because of the wind. Oh he’s absolutely sucked tonight and needs to be better. Just think on a night like tonight with his stuff it may be forcing him to try and be too fine and leading to shittier command. Not trying to make an excuse just don’t want to try and take a ton away from tonight.

    I’ll take the blandness and opinionlessness of the Miles, Gonzales, Sharma (to an extent I’d say he’s more bland than an opinion guy) etc of the world over the opinions of the Rogers (x2), Morrisey’s, etc of the world any day

    Saturday in Philly I’d bet on. Sept 1 so rosters expand, if they feel he’s ready sooner just make up an injury of Tommy.

    Does this mean this Thursday, as in the makeup game against the Braves? Sure wouldn't mind pushing Q back one more day......the barves kill lefties, really hoping we don't see those guys in the playoffs. Yeah Monty this Thursday, which means an extra day of rest for every starter the next time through the rotation starting this weekend in Philly.

    Would’ve been more than happy with 4-2 in the 6 games vs the Tigers and Reds. 5-1 is excellent, hopefully we can get 2 of 3 from the Mets.

    on the other hand that final series of the year could be fun. we could theoretically eliminate them during the pirates series right before, then just mess around during the STL series with the joke on them. Or just eliminate them directly in Wrigley. Luke Farrell no hitter in game 160 is gonna we sweet

    Yeah, would be a real shame if we had to DFA LaStella I'm down for clubbing the seal. I'm also down for keeping Russell on the DL for awhile. I want him back ASAP when rosters expand just for defense late. He doesn’t need to start. But get in for late game defense with leads.
