Brewers walk off the Cardinals, who I think kinda suck. Their bullpen is worse than ours. Miller isn’t the same and Hicks somehow can’t miss bats throwing 105.

horsefeathering pathetic. Baseball is gonna baseball but my god. Failures on multiple levels tonight and we still had the game in hand. We’ll certainly have some wins where we didn’t deserve it but we don’t have the margin of error to horsefeathers games up like this when we have a win in the bag. Garbage start by Yu, Bote making a error he can’t make, Joe going all out to win then coming up short with a half measure to give Carl a leash, Theo giving nothing but garbage bullpen options to work with, etc. We’re still good though, go get 2 of 3 tomorrow and get out of this stupid video game park.

He also doesn’t have a third pitch and loses velo quick. Most of his 2 inning outings he’s throwing noticeably slower in the 2nd inning/once he hits about 20 pitches. Now I agree he probably should’ve been given a chance to start 2-3 years ago before a permanent pen move, because who knows maybe he is Sale 2.0 but they needed him in the pen to win now and he likely doesn’t work as a starter but a small market team like them I’m surprised they didn’t give it a shot to see if they had a top-mid rotation starter internally. -
Just treat him like we did Bryce in 2016. Make Dejong, Ozuna and Molina beat you.
