  2. I’m happy with a 3-3 road trip seeing as we face Castillo, Scherzer and Strasburg in 3 of the games. Get started on a good note tonight idiots.
  3. We learned our lesson with Rizzo and his back last year. Just IL him for 10-15 days and make sure it’s taken care of right. Instead of having him come back in a few days and likely suck for 2 weeks before finally IL’ing him. Stop handcuffing the roster too with keeping injured guys on the 25-man who can’t really play
  4. I think he’s being overblown as a Lebron or KD type franchise changer, for sure top 1-3 player in the league, that guarantees conference/finals runs with pretty much just him and role players. You have to take him #1, don’t get me wrong. But I think how it’s being talked about as an afterthought that’s he’s a lock to be this for sure great player is a bit much. He’s much more likely some weird new age combo of Draymond/Julius Randle/Blake Griffin type player to me. Which is perfectly fine. Yeah, some people are talking about him like he's a lock to be another Giannis, which, OK; calm WAY down, folks. My hot, maybe not so hot, take is this draft pretty much sucks. It’s a bunch of role players/2nd-4th best players on a championship team at best (even Zion and Morant) and the media/narrative around it is trying to push guys to be things they likely aren’t at the NBA level because there always needs to be a GUY or GUYS taken high.
  5. LOL WUT? 6. To be fair, I thought the same thing about Gleyber Torres then he showed up and hit the same amount of home runs in 123 major league games that it took him to hit in 373 minor league games. Baseball is unpredictable. But Milwaukee's history of top middle infield prospects has been... not good for them. Huira has a different offensive profile than those players though. Escobar and Arcia were glove first whose bats never truly came around. Huira's bat looks ready to go. Don't know much about his defensive profile He plays his home games in AAA Coors field and the AAA ball is juiced this year so I’d take a grain of salt with any numbers this year, I think he absolutely has a solid hit tool and will hit for a decent average but I don’t think he’s going to hit for a ton of power or walk a ton. He’s also running a ~30% K rate in AAA so far this year. I think he rates out quite poorly defensively at 2B, but with their shift BS they should be able to hide it. Also speaking of the great Gleyber..... despite the HR power we didn’t see he was only a ~1 win player last year and he’s hitting .286/.323/.456, 104 wRC+ with a 5%BB rate and 20% K rate this year.
  7. Brewer fans think he’s going to be a superstar, I don’t see more than a Starlin/Lemaheiu type player. [tweet] [/tweet]
  8. That was when we shifted a lot more too, for some reason we gave it up and the few times we do shift now it never seems to work.
  9. Up 5 in the loss column on the Vaunted Frauds
  10. Carl Ravech doesn’t know horsefeathers, just like when Buster and the other ESPN idiots tried to stir up the KB horsefeathers this offseason
  11. I’m pretty sure our revolving door leadoff spot has posted better numbers than Dexter every year since he’s left. But yes I get what you’re saying, just basic baseball intuition has me wanting a set guy there for ~145 games. We should trade for Haniger is what I’m saying. Fowler posted a .393 OBP in 2016. I'd be VERY curious to see if the Cubs' leadoff spot has topped that in the 2 full season since. I can try and figure it out tonight, have to head out to golf league soon. I’m almost positive I’ve seen tweets or mentions in articles our leadoff spot has been better than Dexter every year since he’s been a Cardinal. If someone wants to dig in to it before then feel free.
  12. Yeah that was awesome, unfortunately I think the ECF (well and the WCF) are gonna be snoozers. Don’t think it takes the Warriors or Bucks more than 5 games to do their job. DIsagree, especially about the West. I think both those series are going to be great. I just don’t see it in either series, hope I’m wrong and we get two 6-7 game series. But just think the Warriors and Bucks are on another level than the two teams they’re playing. Lillard And Kawhi will both probably have a game they carry their team but don’t think either the Raptors or Blazers have the talent or fire power to make it interesting.

  14. When healthy, Descalso has done a pretty nice job in the leadoff spot. Eh, he isn’t really a leadoff hitter based on his career. He’s a fine PH option and starter 2-3 times a week and hitting 6th or lower.
  15. With Zobrist out I wouldn’t mind seeing him get some looks at leadoff vs RHP. Maybe something will click with the power hitting there and KB behind him. At least this current version of him is getting on base.
  16. A little glimmer of hope when we are all kinda down on him..... he needs to start pounding balls but the discipline seems up to his normal level (if not improved with the Ks).

  18. Hell of a home stand, enjoy the off day then let’s go beat up on the dickballers of Cincinnati :flythew: #WeAreGood
  19. KB up to .257/.400/.529, 149 wRC+, 16.5% BB and 17% K rates, 35 HR pace
  20. He’s cut the Ks down recently (like last 2 weeks). He’s probably about as fixed as he’s gonna be and should be up.
  21. Jon was on fumes, he shouldn’t of faced Cain. Then of course the one time we shift it’s a garbage shift.
  22. Like one of the best OF’ers in MLB fixed? Absolutely not. But he’s making better contact so far this year it seems like, he might be like 110-115 wRC+ fixed.
  23. Get Happ back up here, he’s kinda been fixed for a few weeks in Iowa.
