They don’t deserve to make the playoffs with their half measures deadline -
About 70 percent of the time, they always hit that big home run instead of grounding into a double play or something. we’re also like 3 games over .500 so I have a hard time griping about our bad luck when we could be in divisions with legitimately good teams like the dodgers or yankees or astros. There has been some bad luck though, our Pythag has us like 15-17 games over .500 I saw recently and we have a positive RD on the road. There’s some bad luck.

Nah, he hurt his shoulder last August or September and has sucked since. I don’t think the revamped delivery affected him getting hurt. If anything it was a way to try and cover his diminished stuff.

He should be in RF or 2B vs almost all lefties, then just ride matchups/hot hand of him, Schwarbs and Happ and to a lesser degree Heyward between the OF and 2B. There’s ABs for him, even just as a PH. But he probably should be in Iowa until September or close to it. 22 PAs after 3-4 months off isn’t enough.

4/22, 2 singles, 2HR (left and right handed) and 3BB. Don’t know where he’s been playing defensively. The HRs came recently, iirc.

Theo brought him back and gave him over 3M so when he's one of the #Best25, yes I want him on the team. We’ve been over how it’s debatable he’s one of the best 25. Also we save money at this point by him being in Iowa. He had bonuses for days being on the active roster.

Iowa doesn't play that many games in Las Vegas, Reno, El Paso, Salt Lake or Albuquerque that are where most of the crazy offense in the PCL comes from. The teams they play the most are 16th, 15th, Iowa is 14th and 12th in the 16 team league in OPS, In Russell's time in Iowa he's played 3 games in those hitters parks. Happ had a 96 in his time and Iowa and how is that working out, also that number will go up for Russell after tonight. Okay, you’re either Russell himself or his agent if you’re going to lengths like this to defend keeping the fringe major leaguer around. Throwing aside the being a piece of horsefeathers human and admitted idiot with the sign missing stuff as reason for him not to be around.
