  1. Sherrill from the Orioles. If the Reds fall out and we are willing to take on the salary we could probably get Cordero. IDK know if they have anyone on their teams, but I am sure guys will be available form the Mariners, A's, Nats, Pirates, Bluejays (if they fall out), and probably whatever teams(s) from the NL West/AL central that fall out of contention but right now both divisions are pretty open and all the teams could be somewhat competing until mid-June-mid July
  2. roar some wanted this guy too http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?playerId=3504 damn. And from the games I have seen, probably watched the Phillies 5-8 times this year, he has looked completely capable in the OF. I still think if Bradley can stay healthy and get regular ab's for 1-2 months he will be close to matching these guys stats.
  3. I think it's part he has been hurt for most or part of the last few years so he hasn't been consistently pitching and he doesn't repeat his windup/mechanics which causes him to be erratic at times, there is no doubting his stuff however.
  4. Yeah the early mock-draft are really dumb, it's fine if someone wants to rank the top 50 players or something like that though, I think they are interesting. I mean nobody knows who will get injured, under perform, who has a break out year, what guys have great combine workouts and jump way up or the other way around, and the most important thing the NFL season hasn't started yet nobody knows how that's going to play out and who will finish where except the Raiders/Rams probably both being in the top 5 again. I mean last year before the season everyone was expecting the Dolphins and Falcons to win 6 games or less and they both ended up in the playoffs.
  5. We really need to take this game and go on a good run here. Not show up tomorrow and have a typical Cobs game after scoring 10+ runs the night before, I can see us doing something like scoring 0-2 runs tomorrow going 1-12 w/RISP and committing a few errors along the way with a bullpen implosion.
  6. Wait what? I'm not watching the game, why is Lilly's name being brought up in this thread? He caught some sort of moth and was holding it in his hands the whole bottom of the 7th and you could tell he was plotting something, he then walked over and placed in on Perry's hat and it was on there for a few minutes.
  7. Yeah I am surprised Hendry didn't at least go after Marte or Mcpherson when they were placed on waivers/DFA'd.
  8. And for the person who had Bradley's first multi-hit game on April 28, you probably just won a lot of money.
  9. Seriously Lou get Guzman, Cotts, or Shark in. This is silly making him throw these extra pitches just so he might get up (3 guys would need to reach base) to maybe hit for the cycle (and get the hardest part of it, it's not like he needs a single). Not to mention these extra runs/hits are killing my fantasy team(s)
  10. With Hill starting for Soto, and now Johnson and Gathright in do we have anyone else left on the bench to come in and play defense? I know Soto and Ramriez could pinch hit and they probably want Lee to get the full night off so it could get interesting if someone has to come out.
  11. If a guy is looking for a triple to get the cycle this is probably one of the top 3 parks in MLB to get it.
  12. What other pitchers, if any, have hit for the cycle? I think Hampton did it once.
  13. I think that's how most teams get to their RISP numbers. Most teams will have games where they go 6-8, 10-13 w/risp and then they will have the games where they go 0-5, 2-9 and then it averages out to mid/high .200's/low .300's. It's an average so most teams aren't consistently hitting .270-.320 they are having games under .150 and then they will have games over .600 in the end it averages out but for the most part teams aren't actually hitting at their RISP average in a game by game basis.
  14. I think Soto might be sitting a few extra days in the coming weeks until he shows he can start hitting again
  15. I don't think there are that many hitters in MLB that will have such patient ab's as Milton when they are in such a hitting slump. Most of the time guys are up there just swinging away when they are in a slump like Bradley. The other thing that is a little odd is that with all the pitches he has seen and patient ab's Bradley really hasn't squared up that many balls or hit them hard.
  16. 3 BB for Kosuke tonight. It's somewhat hard to pinpoint what he has changed that he is having so much success. Looking at him bat it doesn't look he has really changed anything, his hands are in the same place and his stance is the same. He might not be bailing out as much as last year, I think it's more he has adjusted and gotten a little more used to MLB style pitching.
  17. Good inning for Z, nice and quick. Should be able to get 7 out of him
  18. Except for that one earlier, where he hit it over the yellow line. Wasn't the runner on 1B? Runners. Plural. Yeah I am a idiot
