While I definitely agree with this, CR, I just thought it would be interesting/encouraging to note: 3 IP, 5 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 1 HB, 3 BB, 0 K. If they can stash him on their 25-man roster with him pitching like that, more power to them, but he's got to turn it around big time. They've got J.J. Putz, Heath Bell, Brad Ziegler, Tony Sipp, Josh Collmenter, David Hernandez, Matt Reynolds and probably one of Wade Miley/Pat Corbin whoever doesn't make the rotation all ahead of him. If things fall right with injuries or trades, he could stick, but for me the odds are long and getting longer with every poor performance Peralta delivers.
