Uh, who is going to testify to sealed grand jury testimony? nobody... if Schilling is being sued for defamation of Bonds' character, he can use Bonds' own grand jury testimony to show that he indeed did use steroids. I wasn't aware that Bonds's grand jury testimony had been unsealed. that's what confuses this non-lawyer: we know that schilling is innocent, but as far as I can tell, he can't use the sources of his knowledge as a defense. On the other hand, American trials of this sort (unlike British) put the burden of proof on the prosecution, which is why all those libel suits by terrorism supporters and such take place in the UK
