  1. Uhh, "not caring" about the White Sox kinda equates to not liking them, doesn't it?? At least for me, that is the case. I am getting a big time kick out of them being bad this year... I just don't follow their games/box scores every single day is all. You're confusing not liking with disliking. People who don't care about/don't like the white sox are unaffected by their losing. People who dislike them are affected. Didn't we go up a game on the Crew earlier this season? I'm pretty sure we haven't. Since we've been chasing the Brewers, the best we did was tie them for a few days. we were one win and one loss behind them at that point. it was a tie in games, a lead in %
  2. Uh, who is going to testify to sealed grand jury testimony? nobody... if Schilling is being sued for defamation of Bonds' character, he can use Bonds' own grand jury testimony to show that he indeed did use steroids. I wasn't aware that Bonds's grand jury testimony had been unsealed. that's what confuses this non-lawyer: we know that schilling is innocent, but as far as I can tell, he can't use the sources of his knowledge as a defense. On the other hand, American trials of this sort (unlike British) put the burden of proof on the prosecution, which is why all those libel suits by terrorism supporters and such take place in the UK
  3. I think it's clear that, at some point during the past two years, aliens have replaced glasscow with a far more optimistic clone.
  4. If I'd told you 5 weeks ago how worrying jones limping would be...
  5. what kind of idiot doesn't run on jones?
  6. "you're more likely to see a pitcher break somebody else's bat from the mound!" -Bob Yes, bob, several thousand times as likely. You're also more likely to see a pitcher strike someone out than break a bat over their own knee
  7. zambrano got down the line quickly. and he's acting more emotionally than when he was 23.
  8. I'm pretty sure the Reds' Bullpen is hittable. why would they use their bullpen?
  9. on the one hand, it was stupid to run there. on the other, that was the best throw I've ever seen jones make. he hit the cutoff man on the fly.
  10. Does santo always call Hendry "Henry"? He did it at least twice during this inning
  11. well, at least that's amusing
  12. I'll be happy to see him retire
  13. wow, mr 0-19 made a throw that wasn't horribly off-target
