  1. that's a bad spot
  2. The ball, Tillman, not the helmet
  3. I don't understand why. The Bears are out of it. You actually give them a shot at the WC? They win and if the Skins hold off the Eagles... They are 2 games back of Green Bay including a game with Green Bay with 5 to play. They are 2 games back of the Eagles with 5 to play. So they are still in it. But they're terrible
  4. Insanely unlucky/lucky
  5. Wow, that was not nice. Eagles gunner just jump-stomped a redskin player in the face,
  6. That was a nice catch, too
  7. Colts defense looks like the Bears on this first drive
  8. So we have people complaining about the score being run up in a 28-7 final game, or is my computer broken?
  9. :-)) I'm reminded of the fact that I have more than one pothead friend who moved to Oregon/northern California entirely because of the marijuana culture. To try to recreate their housing values... 1) price 2) weed (this is very close to being #1) 3) culture (largely another word for weed) 4) crime 5) taxes 6) services 7)... .... oh, yeah, we might accidentally get pregnant some day and I might not choose to have an abortion, schools
  10. I got ETW right after release and played it through the major first few patches until the ginormous money nerf. If you're on a multi core computer, you need to screw with CPU allocation to fix ETW lag (most of it, anyway. It involved assigning certain cores to certain things, unassigning them, and then reassigning them, but I forget it now.). Medival two was so much better than the first one. The first big M:TW game I got into was as the Egyptians and I was about 30% of the way towards a victory when my ridiculously old king died of natural causes and then his son died the next year of natural causes and his son of 15 years died of natural causes... game over.
  11. I've played RS a little and Europa Barbarum somewhat more, but I generally prefer the less modded game for pure entertainment. It is impressive how much historical work has gone into some of the mods (and funny comparing the ratio of historical work to basic editing work)
  12. Good night to be in red against yellow, I guess
  13. No prevent defense=sack, apparently edit: that was an offensive lineman?
  14. Better than letting them kick an extra point as time expires to win. Unless Stanford really sucks at kicking
  15. Houston has a history of running up the score. Back in the Andre Ware days they hung 95 on post death penalty SMU. Ended up covering a 59 point spread by 15 points, and they won 6 games by 45+ that year. Speaking as someone whose high school basketball team (that I was on, but injured for) lost a game 108 to 12, I'm fine with teams doing that.
  16. Great run
  17. Wow. I don't think he crossed, but I wouldn't have reversed that TD
  18. no, announcer, he could not have crawled to catch that ball in time.
  19. Apparently georgia's return team is unclear on the differences between punts and kickoffs
  20. That's what Rice gets for their precious academic standards
  21. Oklahoma's punter is fast
  22. No idea how many people here have played more than one of the series, but I might as well ask. RTW guy here. edit: there is a series of games known as the "Total War" series. 5 games, all called "____: Total War". It's probably the most popular strategy game series of the decade.
  23. ha, Stanford is it weird that I root against Stanford because a guy I sort of knew who used to be on their basketball team was an enormous douche? Jebus, Lottich has a "life skills basketball camp", now it's even worse
  24. Great interception by Georgia.
