  1. Flacco is really good at making what look like intentional grounding passes that go near eligible receivers.
  2. It's like he's trying to duplicate the Oakland QB line just to confuse me
  3. I wonder if anyone makes it through a full four quarters with the paper bag on the head
  4. Did Gruden just say that the 1-7 Browns haven't had a lead all year except for the Bengals game?
  5. It wasn't Putting Neifi in to pinch hit was clearly the right choice, he hit a home run! (yeah, you're a Brewers fan, but I'm sure you'll get it) Im saying it wasn't the middle of the field. Indy took over at the 29 yard line. That was beyond dumb. Compare the odds of Indy getting a 60 or 70 yard drive for a TD+their odds of a sizable punt return to the odds of New England getting 2 or more yards on a play. edit: applies to Dew, too.

  7. I don't get it. You're not that much more likely to get a stop with the punt, and you're very likely to get the first down if you try it. They were averaging 9 yards a pass and 4 yards a rush. Even bad offensive teams convert 4th and 2 half the time.
  8. This isn't a video game. Punt the ball. Why? Turn on NBC. I live in an alternate universe where I just saw Manning easily cut the Patriots defense up and go 60 yards to score a td with all the time left on the clock. Everyone is wondering why the Pats didn't use their amazing offense to get those two yards that would have ended the game. What happened in yours?
  9. Yep. The Patriots make those two yards 80% of the time and that basically ends the game. They stop the Colts with that much time less often
  10. This isn't a video game. Punt the ball. Why?
  11. I've got a bunch of friends from/in New England and my Facebook feed went nuts a few minutes ago :-))
  12. Noway you can risk going for it right there, noway in hell ... "noway" is not a word.
  13. Wow,
  14. Wow, what a huge play
  15. It's a very tough call there
  16. I'm convinced that Bellicheck (however you spell that) could take over the browns for a couple of months and they'd beat the crap out of the 2009 bears
  17. That would result in a huge change in the game. Would need a lot of thought to have an opinion on that. Changing 15 yarders to 2/3 of the distance to the goal would be easy to see the implications
  18. Brady is 25-2 when throwing for 300+ yards. That has to be a huge outlier compared with QBs in general, even QBs who played on mostly good teams
  19. I really want to see a change to 15 yard penalties to make them be more than half the distance to the goal.
  20. Feels like there were a lot of field goals today
  21. Ok, I liked the bit with the magazine covers
  22. Yep My fantasy team is screwed That was really weird, Brady
  23. Lechler had to punt 11 times today. Anyone want to bet on how that compares to Anderson's line tomorrow against the Ravens? I would bet barring an injury that Anderson goes 0/0 tomorrow night. Quinn's the starter now?
  24. And Indy was the defensive leader in points/game coming into tonight
