  1. FUN! Baseball
  2. Would never happen, but I think it would be awesome if season ticket packages came with only 80 games. 1 random weekday afternoon each season would be a flat $35/ticket general admission. First come first served on the seats (clubs excluded of course). Probably would get scrapped after one season because people suck and I’m sure there would be fights.
  3. is that the good hodgkins or the bad hodgkins It’s good. Basically, I just need to avoid other complications caused by chemo, and they’ve gotten really good at that. With my health and age, the chances of being completely cured before baseball season is over is quite high.
  4. I start chemo on Thursday (lymphoma), so Lester throws a perfect game and Rizzo hits 6 dongs.
  5. Yes. You are imagining at least my part about Safeco. http://www.northsidebaseball.com/forum/search.php?keywords=Safeco+&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search Shame on you for trying to make me feel crazy! Oh, dang, I forgot I posted that. Lol. After that pre-engineering support over the phone they asked me to come to site to help during the actual startup.
  6. So did Lackey. Probably contributed more to the 2015 NLDS win than the 2016 playoffs. i screamed loud enough for the whole block to hear me when that happened My very well mannered, therapy trained Labrador retriever basically attacked me because I guess my antics scared her that much.
  7. Grimm definitely contributed to the NLDS win in 2015.
  8. Yes. You are imagining at least my part about Safeco.
  9. I got to be involved in upgrading the controls for the roof at Safeco Field this last week. Got to run the roof myself at one point. Was probably the coolest work experience I will ever have.
  10. It’s hard for me to dislike any player that contributed to the 2015 NLDS win or the WS win.
  11. I was in Cleveland for work recently and went into the gift shop to look at their Authentics store. You can check the date the little bottles of infield dirt were removed. I noticed like all of them were dates between the 2016 ALCS and World Series. The lady told me MLB had the infield dirt skimmed, then replaced before the World Series and then skimmed it all back off after the World Series and MLB took all the dirt.
  12. I think you have more teams than normal that are probably outside their competitive windows this year. Couple that with multiple big spending teams apparently trying to get below the luxury tax, and a fairly underwhelming FA class overall followed by a very talented class. I really think in today’s game the idea of collusion is pretty ridiculous. To successfully collude the executives would have to be involved, and I just do not see that as a remote possibility.
  13. Is this as delusional as it sounds? Because it seems pretty horsefeathering delusional to me, especially the bolded. I just think it’s amazing their lineup is better than ours in an offseason where they traded three future HoF players.
  14. The only thing I care about this postseason is the Vikings losing. Nice play by the safety. Wow...
  15. For Christmas I got this: And this (plus the 1908 one just like it). I had the perfect spot for these in my basement. I figure I can fit about 6 more before the wall starts looking a little too busy. Then I’m going to have to decrease the space between each one.
  16. Probably gonna claim he was hacked after he wakes up from his sparking cider hangover and regrets his tone My wife’s uncle has more than a few screws loose. He claimed he got drunk off the sparkling cider at our wedding and couldn’t drive home.
  17. Yesterday I was providing tech support over the phone for the controls for the roof at Safeco.
  18. It worked! Thanks!
  19. I'm sure your opinion is completely unbiased. Well of course it is. Still trying to think of it objectively.
  20. If I were in his shoes knowing the long term endorsement and salary potential, and putting a premium on having a fun career (personal success + team success) I’d have to think the order would be: Cubs Dodgers Mariners Giants Angels Rangers Padres The only reason I put the Cubs ahead of the Dodgers is Joe Maddon. I think he is the perfect manager to handle this type of player. Also, as has been mentioned before, the Cubs are clearly in the business of getting the regular season innings down on their starting rotation. This is going to be important for at least the first few years of his career.
