  1. Angels, DBAcks, Cardinals, White Sox - 2 Balks on the season Red Sox, Rays - 1 Balk on the season If memory serves me right the Red Sox had 0 balks last season. Cubs - 2 balks in consecutive innings.
  2. I hope this is a joke Its is a joke, I don't recall if he's gotten base runners moving much lately. Sorry. I don't know the posters well enough yet. It was Soto on first last night with Fontenot batting.
  3. There were a ton early in the year. Last night we avoided a double play by starting the runner (can't remember who though).
  4. No, because PHI has 67 losses now and STL has only 66.
  5. Here wo go Cubbies! Start it off Sori!
  6. If I had a dollar for every Cubs game I said I wouldnt watch, and ended up watching, Id be a rich man. Me too. I said I won't watch tonight, but I will...
  7. And if we are just talking about the playoffs although I don't want to see this happen. If the cubs go 0-19 the Phillies would still have to go 7-11 to pass them. So that is good news but I see the Cubs going 11-8 give or take 1 game. So that would mean the Brewers would have to go. Cubs 10-9 Brewers would have to go 14-4 to tie us in the division 15-3 to take it from us If Brewers did that, Phillies would have to go 17-1 to tie us for the wild card and 18-0 to take the wild card from us Cubs 11-8 Brewers would have to go 15-3 to tie and 16-2 to take it from us Phillies would have to win out to tie us for wild card You get the picture and I think I did the math correctly. I was just having similar thoughts today. The Cubs are still in great shape, and they will get back on track. The only thing to worry about NOW is the health of Z and Harden.
  8. The Brewers are not going to choke. After all, there last three games of the year won't mean anything to the team they'll be playing.
  9. Just taking a look toward this weekend. CC Sabathia and Brett Myers should miss the 4-game Phillies/Brewers series. If I were Yost then CC would not pitch Wed. vs. CIN, but Thu. vs. PHI. He'd still face the Cubs in each of the last two series. Matter of fact, it works out even better for him facing the Cubs if he takes an extra day off. His last four starts could be vs. CIN, CHI, CIN, CHI or PHI, CHI, CIN, CHI. It seems pretty obvious to me.
  10. Agreed. For that matter, any team could beat any team in a best-of-five. EVERY team loses series to bad teams throughout the year. The playoffs are just very unpredictable. However, there are still some teams that I would rather face over others.
  11. Dempster, Lilly, and Harden are pitching. Win, 60/40, Win. Let's get the sweep! Go Cubs!
  12. REDS WIN! 4.5 Games!
  13. Inning over. Ouch, the replay from yesterday's walk-off is shown by FSN Wisconsin.
  14. Yes!!!!! He is now 11-for-21 w/ bases juiced (unfortunately for us at times)! And where did all the fans go? The stands were emptying BEFORE the lead was given up!
  15. Sweet! A break! Go Cincy!
  16. I hope you're wrong, but you're probably right.
  17. This is awesome! They need a heartbreaker like we had.
  18. Are you watching on MLB.tv or what? I have premium so I'm a little delayed b/c I like to sacrifice the delay for the quality.
  19. Let's hope they capitalize! BASEHIT! 1st and 2nd!
  20. I liked what I saw! Good win!
  21. FINALLY! GO DOWN ATARI!
