I think it's a safe bet he'll take a year off to relax with his family, probably make a spring training appearance to help out the guys, and pop in from time to time at Wrigley or wherever. It wouldn't shock me to see him do some analyst work on MLB network, ESPN, etc. next year. He definitely has the personality for it. I've heard several baseball people say that Ross could very well make the leap straight to being a head coach, he's that well respected in baseball circles and has the knowledge and ability to make the jump right in. Bottom line, if he wants to be a coach in the future, he'll have plenty of suitors.
