  1. Good news guys, this offensive explosion has put the team back on pace to score more than the '06 Cubs.
  2. I wonder what it would take besides Soto to get V.Martinez. Maybe there's a few teams out there who haven't noticed that he's started waddling to first base.
  3. I wish I wasn't a Cub fan sometimes, but they've got me addicted and there's nothing I can do about it.
  4. It's gone from maddening to funny to irritating and now I'm just numb.
  5. Cordero against Reed, Jake and Blanco. I'm even more doubtful they'll score this inning than I usually am.
  6. Sadly, the bullpen was really good today other than Marmol.
  7. If he throws a starter out there then I'm done watching for the year. It will exceed all allowances I have for stupidity.
  8. Gutless, absolutely gutless. Why even show up if they're not even going to bother to play.
  9. Patton up in the pen. It's ending this inning one way or another.
  10. Enough is enough, fire Lou. How many times can he try to force things to happen and fail before he gets it.
  11. I hadn't noticed our leadoff hitter's OBP was sub .300 before that walk. Sooo depressing.
  12. Hendry either needs to make a move for a reliever/3rd basemen or just say screw it and start the firesale. This team is not going to be able to tread water with what they've got. I've never seen so many players on one team having their worst career years.
  13. Just lose Cobs so I can do something else with my day.
  14. 2006 The Cubs scored 716 runs in 2006; they're on pace for 702. They're actually worse this year believe it or not.
  15. It's really pretty amazing that there are six teams who have scored less than the Cubs.
