  1. Why the hell would you not throw to 1st? Pedro is fat and slow.
  2. Seriously Hendricks? Your stuff is nowhere near good enough to forgive that kind of nonsense.
  3. Gleyber with another walk and a single, too. Ended up adding a triple to go 2/3 with a BB Just when the rest of MLB thought we were out of SS prospects, Gleyber stands a really good chance at appearing in the top 50 in 2016.
  4. As Len said, Cargo drilled Archie Bradley in the face. He walked off under his own power, but there was a lot of swelling in his cheek. https://streamable.com/sli6
  5. I remember when the Cubs used to dong. Good times.
  6. We use our relievers at the weirdest times relative to game situation. I mean ideally wouldn't you think this is a good time for Edwin or Motte? Just keep them on a short leash.
  7. Not sure I agree with Strop here, but whatever.
  8. 10 seconds into the interview and I want Millar dead.
  9. So the Pirates are one away from having turned as many double plays in this game as the Cubs have turned this year.
  10. Struck out on 1 ball in the zone. Nicely done ump.
  11. What? I'm going to assume it was Castro's slide that fell several feet short of 2B.
  12. I don't understand how Gregg's arm is still attached given how he short arms every pitch.
  13. Jake at 92 pitches, do you run him out there for a 6th inning?
  14. Absolute miracle they got out of there giving up one run.
  15. I can't believe he isn't going to make it out of the 5th.
  16. How do you hit a HR on that pitch with a fooled swing like that? I can't even be mad.
  17. A couple extremely lucky Cardinal pitchers Carlos Martinez= 100%LOB .178babip Wacha= 98.8%LOB .202babip Unfortunately Wainwright and especially Lynn are just legitimately very good.
  18. .432babip and 35ish% k rate, those are both huge signs that a lot of bad is coming, pretending otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand. from the guy who thinks a guy who gave up something 2 HR in 52 innings last year gives up a lot of HR So we're just ignoring tell tale statistics because they don't fit what we wont now. Got it. Soler will main .423babip and we will pretend he doesn't have 17 strike outs in the last 10 games. and brian schlitter (who clearly is awful, mind you) gives up lots of home runs and is not a ground ball pitcher So you have no actual response then.

  21. I'm telling myself it's SSS combined with he appears to be affected by the cold more than other guys Yeah, his .432babip doesn't leavel me feeling really warm inside either.
