    There were certainly plenty of calls for Baez to get beaned. Including hitting him in the head, the neck and every time he comes up to bat for the rest of the season.

    Yeah he looks like a solid 4th OFer, but if he can start to tap into any of that 70 grade raw power, he might become something more.

    A's #9 prospect on Fangraphs and MLB.com. 26 years old though #8 on fangraphs On the plus side, the BB% has nearly doubled to 19 1% this year while the K% is down to an acceptable 23%

    26 year old I AAA in the LV launching pad. Not awful, but I would have preferred someone young even in A ball with upside.

    Definitely provides better depth than Holtz/Horsted if Graham or Kmet were to get hurt. Is cutting Graham an option to open up money for other positions? Not sure where his contract is at.
