Not grabbing a lefty is going to bite them sooner or later. Anthony Kay is just not good. What would a couple months of Bruce Suter possibly cost? Maybe a guy in the low 20s? Who cares?

If I remember right, he doesn't have a great arm which probably means left field. That bat is a lot less exciting in LF than it would be if he could someone how make himself tolerable at 2B -
The confusing part is that fangraphs has his defense as a negative this year and I know it's the eye test, but it really hasn't felt like that at all.

Triantos recovering some of that 2021 hype after a pretty down 2022 would be significant for the farm. He was on the verge of being on a number of top 100 after 2021. Now if they can only find him a position where his defense doesn't completely suck. -
Tauchman on 3.6 per 162 fWAR pace and sporting a 118 wRC+, while posting an .876 OPS from July 1st through August 1st. I can't say I saw that coming.
