  1. Yeah, if I'm throwing major prospects at a guy, it's not one with all the question marks that come with Roberts.
  2. On a .197 babip, he still posted a 102 wRC+ since June 1st. His LD/FB/GB% are all pretty similar to 2023, but his quality of contact is down a bit which is something to watch.
  3. I'm probably the high man on Alcantara here and that would be really disappointing unless a major piece was coming back
  4. He has also only been a starter for 3 months has a very significant injury history. If you had them kind of comparable I'd get it, but having one worth literally near double the other is idiocy.
  5. Let me preface this by saying I'd very much prefer Neris not being on the 2025 team, but he's actually starting to work himself into simply bad rather than horrific peripherals. He's still very much not worth his contract, but he's kind of tolerable now.
  6. While I do agree this feels an underpay, BBTV also thinks that Crochet is almost twice as valuable as Justin Steele and Justin has an extra year under team control.
  7. 14th loss in a row for the WSox, I almost feel pity at this point. Then I remember they can't pick in the top 10 despite being historically awful and I laugh and I laugh.
  8. If Wisdom had any kind of hit tool.......
  9. I still think it's probably 20% or less that he's moved, but the odds definitely climbed up a bit today.
  10. PCA just has game breaking speed. He has to do so little offensively to be tremendously valuable. If he could even be a .700 OPS guy he'd probably put up 4+ fWAR with his defense and baserunning.
  11. Unless he's waiving his opt out clause, why would he?, I see no purpose in this.
  12. Not sure how he hasn't been promoted to AAA yet.
  13. Well when he's demanding a contract extension if he's traded to a team that plays in October, I'd say he was the one who made that decision for the White Sox.
  14. This gives the Cubs a ton of money to fill RF/C in the offseason. Not that I believe it's going to happen, but they'd seriously have Soto money available now that 3B is filled relatively cheaply.
  15. Not Cub related, but it's still fun, Crochet got lit up a bit and the White Sox are down 6-1, 12 outs from their 14th loss in a row.
  16. Eh, you're probably right but C- Amaya 1B- Busch 2B- Nico SS- Dansby 3B- Parades RF- Bellinger CF- PCA LF- Happ DH- Seiya It still feels like it needs another bat
  17. This is the big take away. Yeah, Parades is probably not a 4 fWAR guy with the Cubs, but given how shallow the 3B talent is across MLB, even as a 3 fWAR guy he's probably a top 10 3B.
  18. So, who's the RF to chase in trades/FA now? Tyler O'Neil would be a good get. He's injury prone, but when he's on the field he can rake.
  19. I'm actually most saddened by losing Bigge who I think ends up being a dominant reliever, assuming he stays healthy.
  20. I love how many people are calling the Cubs dumb for buying when everyone they're acquiring is under control for multiple years.
  21. Other than getting great value, I love that this let's Seiya become your DH and gives you the option to move Nico in the offseason.
  22. That is a damn steal
  23. What a steal if it Morel+Bigge+ someone not in the top 5
  24. No Horton preferably no Shaw and I'm good
