    I'm a big weather guy, and I think storms like this are awesome when they aren't interfering with the Cubs game. You should spend a spring in Oklahoma. But then I wouldn't get the blizzards and winters with high temperatures of -10 during the day. :D

Normally I do too since typically if I get caught in them something is always open near by and I can find cover in, but after 11 at night by St. Michael's off North, everything is closed. I was tempted to pound on the doors of the Twin Anchors and demand sanctuary and ribs. Except I live in North Dakota, where there's no such thing as "downtown."

On weather.com the dot of Chicago is about in the center of the storm and that is provided at 11:30. It's at 11:34 and 11:38 now. These update automatically once posted. Man, that storm is sure taking its time.

    If it was Houston against Cincinnati, you could be assured that this thing would have been called ages ago. Not exactly related, but at Ditka's yesterday they had the Mariners vs. Orioles game on. I thought, "what's the point?"

    Jason Marquis seems to get a lot of hate on this board, usually in the game thread before the game that he pitches. Now, I know he had as stretch of bad starts earlier in the year, but I think he has picked it back up enough for me not to chalk up every game by him a loss. Why does everyone still hate him? His ERA is 4.50-ish, which is pretty good for a 5th starter. Of course, everyone has bad days, but Marquis has been pretty good as of recently. He had a quality start against the Pirates in that 3-0 loss, and remember when everyone chalked up that Marquis vs. Halliday matchup as a loss? Marquis tossed 6 shutout innings. So basically, I think Marquis is a good number 5 starter who doesn't deserve all the hate he has been getting.

    The storm seems to be slowing down. Thank God the game started at 6 instead of 7 otherwise this one might be over already. yeah but this game wouldn't be official. Exactly what I was going to say.

    This rain is being a real dick. Thank god I wasn't at the game. Of course, if I was at the game, this wouldn't happening, and the Cubs would be up 242-1

    How small? Tornados are so unpredictable it could hit the mound and nothing else. But I'm guessing if a 2 or 3 hit the scoreboard, it'd be in big trouble. Maybe the tornado will hit the scoreboard, change the score, and the Cubs will win.

    Thee's a chance I'll be going to this game. Please Cubs, do better than your 3-0 loss on friday. Most disappointing game ever. At least score some runs, or hit a home run or something to excite me. I I don't get to this game, there's a chance I'll get to watch Harden pitch on Tuesday.
