I'd just like to thank the Cubs for their great performance at maybe the only Cubs game I'll be at this whole year. God Freakin Damnit. Oh well, there's a chance I'll get to go to another game before I go home. They better at least score one freaking run if I go.
I'm going to be at this game (I'm currently visiting my relatives in Chicago). Hopefully the cubs haven't use up all of their offense in the last 5 games and hopefully Marquis can surprise us with a gem!
If the Cubs win this one, I'm thinking sweep. Just curious, are there usually AIM chats on every/most game, or just occasionally? Or does it depend on how many people are online?
I love being a fan during intense games (such as today's) but I could do without all of the emotional intensity sometimes. That's why it's great to be neutral while watching a game (say, an AL game) that you have no stake in. The wild card playoff game last year comes to mind.
