    Man, I leave to go play poker with the score 5-3, and come back to see the Cubs win with a go ahead HR in the 9th by Ward. Hell. Freaking. Yes. When was the last time the Cubs were 28 games over 500?

    Groovy. Bruce, any idea if the Cubs are looking at bringing Edmonds back next season? Everyone always give them crap for holding on to a one year guy to long, see Gary Gaetti. Now we are suggesting to this very thing. Depending on how much he asks for, I think a one year deal would be great. I don't see much risk in the signing.

    then you're on 700 not 720 I'm on 720, and it slowly fades in. I just adjusted it now, and I can hear Pat and Ron, but in about a few minutes, I'm going to hear Marty again until his voice overtakes Pat's and I'll have to fidget with the tuner knob again. Sometimes frequencies will bleed when they are relatively close together, depending a various things. Happens more at night because there's alot more atmospheric bounce after the sun goes down. Science? In MY game thread?

    Also, the Cubs have so much depth that it seems that we can still do fine without a big player. Doesn't make Aram potentially missing playing time any better, but still.
