The experts say there isn't a lot of difference between picks 10-50. Why not go BPA with the first round pick? If its RB or TE so be it. Then use your two 2nd round picks on OL/DL

I could be wrong but I thought maybe the 20-21 season for the NHL started late due to the bubble playoffs the prior season. I think the Hawks played some regular season games in May of 21. But you point still stands. Very pathetic of both teams -

Watch after these first 29 games the Cubs are like 17-12. Then in the next 29 against mostly horsefeathers teams they go 12-17. -

Maybe a trade down is possible if Poles/Johnson feel their isnt much of a dropoff at say 17 instead of 10? *Assuming Jeanty and Warren are gone

The Cubs will get a top of the line starter by the trade deadline at the latest. It's just not going to happen anytime soon. No team, not even as ****** as the White Sox is trading away starters in April. If Jed tries to trade now, it will be a kings ransom in return. Wait it out, they are over halfway thru the hard part of the schedule now and are 11-7. then around the ASB make a deal.

Me too. I have only watched the two Japan games and this one. Partially thanks to Marquee and also I was out of the country. Will tune in tonight on ESPN.

Im sure a Florida boy is falling in love with this wonderful April weather we have been getting. Does anyone believe he will pick the Cubs and a Ricketts insulting offer because he fell in love with Chicago?

Ricketts doesn't care what people think. I hope they sign Tucker, but I think the reality of that happening is probably 5%. Especially with what their president is doing to the stock market.

Tucker isn't coming back to the Cubs next season. Tom Ricketts is poor. They will say they made their best effort like always but won't even come close to the asking price in reality.

Was Berstein at the Score when it started in 1992? If so he was the last original left after Grobstein died. I started listening to the Score during the Bulls 4th Championship run. And B and B was probably my favorite when they started together in probably 2000ish, always loved the regular callers they brought on like Mike from Milwaukee who every Friday was 3 sheets to the wind by mid afternoon.

Wow. Illinois is a 1.5 favorite vs Kentucky. I know the game is in Milwaukee but I was expecting Kentucky to be favorites of 3 points

These are the best two days in sports and I am not even a huge college basketball fan anymore. 14/16 in my bracket. I expect to come crashing down today.

Cubs play Dodgers twice at Wrigley and 3 times in LA. If they would have split it, it would have been 3 at Wrigley and 2 at LA. I haven't looked, but its easier to do a 2 game series during the week as opposed to Fri-Sun(I think that is when the games in LA are) Anyway that's the only logic I have that would make Grifter Tom look less of a money grabber.

It would not surprise me if Illinois makes it to the elite 8. It would not surprise me if Illinois gets smoked by Xavier/Texas on Friday night either.
