Yeah I kind of was thinking the same. I hope the Lions lose tomorrow so the Ben Johnson hire to the Bears or whomever else is nearing a close.

Prepare internally for the draft? Free Agency? Maybe they are gathering intel of other teams around the league and Johnson is their guy Or they don't have a clue what the horsefeathers they are doing.

Yeah sure does. He would probably get his pick of GM or at least input on it. Probably would also get his asking price met. Something I doubt the Bears are willing to do.

Yeah that would tell me Poles is most concerned about saving his own job. Hiring Caroll maximizes the chances the Bears don't suck, low risk hire.

Yeah, the last Packer drive that should probably been called PI in the endzone he under threw it by 5 yards. If he gets it remotely close to the WR, its PI all day

Yeah a competent organization would have zeroed in on 5 or 6 candidates in the 6 weeks since they fired Flus. Also, candidates like Carroll and Vrabel, why didn't they do those interviews in December?
