Interesting 2013 - Blues go up 2-0 against the defending champs with Steen and Jackman getting the game winners. Shutout 1-0 in Game 3. 2014 - Blues go up 2-0 against the defending champs with Steen and Jackman getting the game winners. Shutout 2-0 (empty netter) in Game 3
That's funny! I will say this though, I have been to road games in both Nashville and Atlanta, and some Hawks fans decided to cheer. I along with most others did not out of respect for the home crowd as it was not the UC. Down south especially they feel its disrepectful
My picks. 1st round Min over Col in 7 Chi over STL in 5 Ana over Dal in 6 SJ over LA in 7 Bos over Det in 5 Tb over Mtl in 6 Pit over Clb in 5 NYR over Phi in 7 2nd Chi over Min in 5 SJ over Ana in 6 Bos over TB in 6 Pit over NYR in 7 Conf Final Chi over SJ in 6 Bos over Pit in 6 SCF Chi over Bos in 6
up around $60 now...trying to talk myself out of it I should have bought tickets during the 3rd period. Game 5 is still cheap and should be a Saturday.
I was wondering why sport club stats still has the Blews at 55% to clinch the central despite losing the tiebreaker to Colorado. I know a lot of Hawks fans that bought tickets for games 1 and 2 in Colorado, there is a real chance they are S.O.L
Agreed. Haven't the Blackhawks had some success against the bully teams in the playoffs? Boston, Philly, etc. They've lost when the opposing goalie gets hot or they are simply just the lesser team. That is true, I just worry Steve Ott will take a run at one of Kane or Toews in a game 1.
I still would rather play Colorado. Not that St Louis scares me, but they are physical and full of thugs, considering Toews and Kane will just be coming back from injury. Dallas, Phoenix, or Minnesota can take the Blues out.
Colorado comes back and ties the game with 1 minute left in regulation and then wins the shootout :banghead: . Pretty much kiss 2nd place goodbye. Might as well give the rest of the core some games off now. Hawks 12% to take over second according to sportsclub stats. The Kings lost in regulation. In the event both the Hawks and them meet in the WCF the Hawks would have home ice. They are up 5 points on them. San Jose vs LA, first round, one of those will be done.
More than likely it will be Boston or Pittsburgh out of the East as the rest of that conference is garbage and both will finish with more points than the Hawks. However the Hawks can easily have home ice in the 2nd round if St Louis loses, which could happen(they are the Cubs of the NHL). Also in the Western Final LA could easily come out of that division and the Hawks would have home ice. I don't see the Hawks losing to Colorado in a 7 game series if Toews and Kane are healthy, especially considering Duchene(sp?) is out four weeks.
My guy has it now down to GB -4.5. The line has dropped 1.5 points since 7pm last night. O/U is up to 51.5 Begging for GB money now? Everyone and their mother seems to be on the Packers. I thought the line would have gone closer to 7 by kickoff
Crawford was not to blame for the loss The too many men non call sucked, but it never gets to that point if the Hawks can actually clear the puck the 6 times they had a chance to previously. Win tomorrow we have home ice. Hawks in 6. The Hawks played a terrible game, and still were an OT goal away from winning. Im not worried.
