    the issue with that analogy is that players are rarely traded for 1st rd picks. That being said, I do think Poles liked Moore. He's 25, has 3 1000 yard seasons already. I can certainly see why Moore could tip the scales. its like 2.5 1st rd picks Diggs, AJ Brown, Tyreek, Hollywood Brown, Watson, Stafford, Wilson, Jamal Adams, Buckner, Ramsay, Bradley Chubb, Minkah Fitzpatrick, OBJ all come to mind from recent years. DJM is better than Hollywood and Hollywood fetched a first and a 4th. I think there were rumors that the Panthers wanted 2 firsts for DJM at the trade deadline. 2.68 1st rds

    I'm glad you're confident. Scouting reports, notes from 49ers fans and stats all seem to think he's a great run-blocker who is really, really bad in pass protection. he's not really really bad in pass protection. but you do you. "notes from 49ers fans" lmao he's a great run blocker and he's an OK pass blocker. the guys we have are not OK pass blockers, PFF's evaluation of their pass blocking (while being protected by the playcaller eschewing passing in obvious passing situations to a comical extent) notwithstanding I thought pff graded him in to 80's overall, higher in run blocking. Regardless, McGlinchy isn't the top available rt in FA because a bunch of SF fans think he sucks He doesn't

    it's a lot more than solid i may have set myself up for the "3 1st rd pick + multiple 2,3 rds) dream, but yea I get it. Moore has been productive

    Wouldn't Poles have sign multiple OL and DL? JSN at #9 completes the WR room. prolly, but McGlinchy is my primary target. Also, the Browns C is a nice upgrade to Mustiphail and there are other DT options/additions

    I would have liked a higher 2nd round pick but getting Moore out of it along with (2) 1st rd picks is a solid return now sign McGlinchy, Hargrave, draft BPA at 9 and let's get on with it. Maybe they can package their a 2nd round pick with one of their 4th rounds and move up

    last year, they finished 3rd in State in 1A. That seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime deal considering how tiny #myschool is and likely will always be..until today Scales Mound Hornets play for 1st place Saturday morning. If they win, they will be the smallest school in Illinois history to win any state championship in any sport with a buzzing enrollment of 70 students for the entire high school GO HORNETS eta: these kids are doing something we all tried to do but ran into the very real reality of what it means to play sports at a small nano-school. I couldnt be more proud of them i used to play football and baseball against Erik, the Head Coach, he played for our rival. Love what he's done for SM 2022: 3rd in state 2023: 2nd in state Amazing for 70 kids

    I saw a mock earlier today that had the Bears ending up with the following haul via 2 trades: Will Anderson (1.04), 2024 1st (HOU), 2024 1st (IND), 2023 2nd (HOU), 2023 2nd (IND), 2023 3rd (IND). Imagine getting 2 1st's, 2 2nd's and a 3rd while still getting the top player off the board. I'm trying not to let my mind drift too much here because its bound to lead to disappointment No way Houston gives up a future 1st. I don't think the Colts do either unless they get ahead of Houston. I could see Indy trading (2) 1sts to get to #2, all it would take is rumors of an AZ trade out of #3, and those are already swirling

    2) 1's and 2) 2's would be decent, but I'd worry that Carolina will be drafting in the 20's next year. Add a 3rd for my heartache

    You're just hoping the Jets bail out GB from the Rodgers end of career mushroomstravaganza with a flood of picks and other assets I would welcome another year of AR starting for the Packers. Will relish every game until he’s done playing for them. If he’s traded or retires, so be it. And as a fan, I’ll move on to rooting forJordan Love. Sure, but the Packers will suck and the rest of us will be happy because of that It's one of the few things about the future I am genuinely excited that I'll get to witness

    The returns seem light and I'm not a fan of Skoronski that high. Yea, they only net (1) additional 1st rd pick while dropping 6 slots? No thanks. McShames reason is "well, tge have Justin Fields, they don't NEED a top 5 pick" F-that, Poles NEEDS all the 1st rd picks he can get

    Van Ness would be a good pick with one of their 2nds, but at 9 I'm prolly taking the best available 3 tech, not an edge. Van Ness is trending toward the top 15 and the best available 3-tech at 9 will either Jalen Carter, who had an arrest warrant issued last week or IMO a guy like Calijah Kancey, who is not worthy of a top 15 pick. Interesting thing at 9 becomes is a CB the best player on the board? Or do the Bears reach for Smith-Njigba, who they supposedly love and Fields obviously would love? If Carter is there at 9, I'd prolly draft him. He was racing, he has some growing up to do, but he's also an incredible talent. I don't put racing on the same level as what Watson was doing

    Does that make you less interested in trading with them? I assume so when you consider future picks we'd be getting in the trade. Also, whomever he trades the #1 to will forever be compared to Poles. It will be Young (or Stroud) vs Fields. It will matter less how talented Carolina is outside of QB

    you'd have to be all in on the idea that Poles can make this happen and Fields is putting up numbers, meaning its more a matter of XP than FG. I mean...that could happen

    I dont have an issue with the players stealing signs during play, or coaches/managers clueing in players in the dugout or via a 1st or 3rd base coach, but when you've got organizational dudes using a camera in the outfield, sending in signals to some dude who's banging on a tub I feel like you crossed a line.
