  1. I did enough :P
  2. Am I the only one who got this? Really quite clever and amusing way of calling someone a name. I don't get it. :? Please enlighten me. If you guys want to converse about this over PM, by all means go ahead, but it's not really on topic, so lets not continue it here. BUT I DONT GET IT EITHER PM ME TOO PLEASE
  3. If you vote for Neifi, I'll vote for Freddy. :) BANEDON!!! you will give Dusty MORE reasons to play the guy!!!
  4. its better baseball then the NL right now i watch 2-4 NL games a day, i watch maybe 2 AL games a week(usually the rangers) i just cant stand the DH and its consequences. while I hate the DH as well, the AL teams stack their lineups (ingeneral) much better then NL teams. whether or not that is a result of the DH or a result of better management in the AL is up for debate, one thing isnt. Baseball happens in the AL right now. Teh NL has some catching up to do...
  5. no kidding. + @ $10 mill a year, couldnt he get his cuz (or someone) to drive him arouond if he cant stop the sauce???
  6. its better baseball then the NL right now
  7. I imagine he thought Detroit would figure out his ineptitude faster than Chicago. that would be my guess as well
  8. That says a lot when the top MVP candidates don't even have to play the field. That's what's wrong with the DH rule. and exactly why the AL rules the baseball world and why the NL is falling behind fast AL teams understand the need for good batters up and down the lineup, not the old traditional play for 2 runs crapola the NL plays off my soapbox now
  9. sorry Tiger, but I hardly fault Jones for that one. he ran, didnt taunt, just raised his finger (#1 style) in celebration It doesn't matter to me if it's taunting or celebration, you look stupid celebrating a home run that doesn't even give you the lead. What if it ties a game? I think a nod is acceptable celebration for a game-tying homer. Perhaps a hop and a skip. lol you kids are unbelievable

I didnt think he looked stupid at all....granted it wasnt a gw walk-off, it did bring us alot closer to winning this game, as was the best possible outcome of his AB, so I say celerbrate on...

  15. I have to say this isnt a horrible move. Hairston wasnt doing squat, and Restovich has proved to be a very nice AAAA player. now if we could dump Bynum
  16. we did, but I bet he doesnt pitch all that well this year
  17. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/5651570
  18. not to mention that joke of a player Bay
  19. that was 1st base coach He was 1st base coach, then hitting, then bench as I recall. He moved to the FO to get away from the travel after that. I didnt realize Williams was a hitting coach, I just thought he was 1st base coach and bench He was also the outfield defense coach for a while. Boy, an outfield defense coach could teach to hit the cutoff man. If there's anyone within the current Cubs organization that could snap some sense into our hitters, it's Billy Williams, he of the 426 career home runs and .361 lifetime OBP. dammit people, ITS NOT ABOUT WALKS!!!

  21. Awesome. How crazy would Lee get if Corey screwed up? lol..I wonder..
  22. Let's cut out the middle man here. Maddux for Manager/Player. dude cant do everything or can he???? :P
