  1. How likely is it that he could become JHey 2015 next year? Whats a good precedent for that type of turn around?
  2. I wouldn’t mind Darvish, but not at that price
  3. Arrieta, Davis and Lackey all mattered. Arrieta was terrific and will almost certainly be replaced by a lesser pitcher. Davis was great and although maybe a little easier to replace, lots of quality front offices have rolled the dice on the wrong guy in that situation. Lackey's value is under appreciated, as it costs a lot of money to simply get a guy you can reasonably expect to duplicate what he did. It's going to take a lot of work to replace those guys, and they may not collectively improve on that group, so they'll need to other three starters to at least not take a step back. it's a legit big ask. Id agree with you on Arrieta and Davis, but Lackeys only true value came in filling up a jersey with flesh and bones
  4. probably not or probably? Probably would take our core* I read it wrong, but I agree with you especially about contreras
  5. Would you take the Cubs cover over theirs? Probably. We likely have the best guy (Bryant) and more quantity with nearly as much upside as a guy vs guy breakdown plus we have Willy at one of the 3 most premium spots when they don’t have a catcher. probably not or probably?
  6. Would you take the Cubs cover over theirs? no. Contreras
  7. I prefer a 9B myself.
  8. With the Bears 3-5 and 1 win in the conference and already losing tiebreakers to Atlanta, NO and halfway to losing to GB and MIN, our odds arent that great of making the playoffs. If Hilton is available and the price is right of course I'd love to grab him and give him an extra half season of working with Mitch. But if we have to pay a premium to get him in season (and thus far, trades made have given no evidence that an in-season premium exists), I'd take my chances in the offseason where there will be multiple ways to improve the WR position. Hes 27 years old, and who would be better in the offseason? A WR combo of Meredith and Hilton would be pretty strong. Id give up our 2nd rd + combo of 3-4 in later drafts
  9. Any chance we daringly trade for TY Hilton? And what would you give up?
  10. wut Is t he the guy in the prison suit?
  11. Also isn’t mario Grasu
  12. Sheehan is a monster
  13. he landed on it awkwardly while making a catch. looked very bad but i didn't think it looked any more gruesome than your standard football knee ligament tear. horsefeathering robots don't care about human bodies doing what they are not meant to do. It was awkward and ugly and gross and had to be reviewed a million times because of the overturned touchdown. I didn't watch a single one of them, but imagine being the replay review guy that had to see it over and over. It was horsefeathering Joe Theisman like. Nasty horsefeathers
  14. Three Well, when it goes right through the TEs hands...
  15. Holy horsefeathers knee went wrong way
