well hopefully, that was our worst play-calling game of the season and its only up from here. But I don't think our schedule gets any easier with the Saints, Chargers and Vikings coming up. -
It wasn't about just running it more. Many of the pass plays that were called were of basically the same concept. Look 10 yards down the field. If that pass isn't available, force it anyway or dump it. There was no attempt to spread the field in the entire first half. The safeties were leaning forward on every play call because every play that was called was in front of them. You brag about having all of this amazing speed (Cohen, Gabriel, Patterson) and you do absolutely nothing with it. Maybe the coach knows more about Trubisky than we do, and that spreading the field is just not an option with this QB. If that's the case, it's going to be a long season. I'm not nearly enough of an expert to assign an exact percentage live, but I'm pretty sure that not going down the field wasn't playcalling but rather a combination of the offensive line not giving him any time and Trubisky panicking and checking down too early. how good is GB's Dline anticipated to be? Was last night a harbinger of our Olines season ahead, or GB's Dline?

The offense looked so pedestrian. I felt like the offensive pass interference by Gabriel was [expletive], but as a whole Nagy and the O never got horsefeathers going. How much of it was lack of preseason reps? The next 4 games will be tough

By "years", I assume you mean the past 2 only. Because three years ago they were in the NFCCC and won the division 5 of the previous 6 years. From a lofty perch (10-6) three years ago to fewer wins in subsequent years. What term should I use to describe such fortitude?

I'm not sure why we are excited about a guy who hasn't seen ml pitching in 4 months but ok. I fully expect Zo's performance tonight to be only a smidge above a dumpster fire.

I can forget the past. The packers have been downward trending for years and the Bears exploded onto the scene last year. We start to walk away with the game mid 3rd quarter and win something like 27-13. Last year was painful and you can look at this as a redemption game, revenge, whatever you want. It won’t matter overall.
