  1. I feel like going exclusively "nickleback" is a good way to drive down attendance, thereby limiting the direct experience of how bad they've been
  2. Wow, I knew there was a reason I needed to listen to ¡Sandinista! today, especially this track
  3. fellow Golden Gopher, RIP buddy
  4. sooo...we'll be inactive since we have none?
  5. this sucks for the bears but football isn't of primary importance here. I hope its not true but the Bears/NFL need to investigate and take appropriate action if this is shown to be true totally agree, my only point is "see ya Roquan"
  6. should have drafted mlb in the 2nd horsefeathers
  7. it should be, but not giving him any help skill player wise is quite the approach. I'm not sure how that works really
  8. This must be the answer to the question: How to sound like the biggest a-hole while making obvious criticisms against the Bears offseason? Authors points: WR corps looks bad, TE corps not good enough to make receiver group as a whole satisfactory (I agree) Velus Jones not an ideal pick at 71 (I agree) Poles is giving up on this season and will blame Pace (I do not agree) Evaluating Fields is more important than BPA because it means a better evaluation of the most important position (I get it) I wish more had been done to the offense, too. Developing Fields is critical, and giving him more weapons/OLine help would be/would have been awesome. Poles deserves some criticism of, or at least opinions on, his offseason, no doubt. This clown took 1000 words of hyperbole and not very funny sarcasm to make his case. What do you disagree with? Poles inherited a bad team and made no effort to make it competitive in 2022. They required bare minimum upgrades and didn't even try. yea, I dont know how anyone can look at what Poles has done (or more importantly not done) and think anything other than he doesn't believe in Fields
  9. That was horsefeathering terrible
  10. Also, thanks for nothing Poles
  11. If it is, I'm a fan. PCA is tearing it up
  12. so, this is Pete Crow Armstrong's mom? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0189524/
  13. 4 of the last 5 at home in the most miserable part of the season weather-wise and after the season will likely be all but over. Bye in Week 14 when its to late to do us any good is strange too. Still a very easy schedule most likely but the way it is configured is possibly the hardest you can make it on the Bears. The meat heads will think it’s great because of the mythic advantage of “Bears weather” that hasn’t actually been an advantage otoh, if and when the Bears do play well in that weather in Chicago, i love nothing more then to point to "Bears Weather" even tho I know its not a thing. why? because it annoys the ever-living hell out of my Viking-fan friends
  14. That's a hard read. best of luck Tarik
  15. Yeah 6’+, 300 lbs is about average for a center. Kramer might be a tad short. Jason Kelce is a 4-time All Pro at 6’3”, 295. Corey Linsley is 6’3”, 301. Ryan Kelly is 6’4”, 307. Etc. Pouncey is 6’4”, 304. If Kramer isn’t an adequate NFL center, it won’t be because of his size. I thought I read he was 6-2 and 304 lbs, which would seem inline for an NFL center. Hell, Kruetz was smaller then that even
  16. What is proto-typical size for C in the NFL? At 6-2, 302 I'd think Kramer isn't *that* undersized, is he? That's all I read about him
  17. or, like 1/2 the '85 defense
  18. The report is he grabbed Hoge's throat. I guess I haven't listened enough to Kruetz's talk shows/podcasts/etc enough, but that is shocking to me. I could totally see him stuffing Hoge into a locker being the jock he is, but grabbing Hoge by the throat while doing it is....WOW gtfo Olin
  19. also, I like investing in the secondary. you aren't likely to beat Aaron Rodgers with your offense alone, but if you can contain and minimize him with solid coverage, it gives Fields and the offense less of a hill to climb
  20. I'll give Poles credit and say he must not have seen any o-lineman or wr's in the draft better then what we have or not worth the value of the pick when he picked past the 1st 2nd round pick, meaning he went strictly bpa on a long list of needs. I'm not sure I agree, but whatever. It'll be interesting to see what they do in FA here into training camp.
  21. Yep, some definite self preservation going on it feels like. It drives me crazy. Sure, they didn't draft Fields, but they were hired (presumably) with the idea they could build a team with him. Sure, if Fields fails after real investment and planning for the guys around him, you couldn't blame Poles. But as it is, Fields failure would be impossible to separate Pokes from. In a way, Poles has staked his career in Chicago to Fields success by NOT supporting him.
  22. Cordell Patterson #2 if we absolutely hit 100% on him
  23. Wait what? See what?
  24. Mel Kiper is looking unbelievable max hedroom tonight
