  1. Objectively, you're blind I'm not convinced. Ok David
  2. Objectively, you're blind
  3. "We can't tell from video.." Video shows ball nose 4" past goaline horsefeathers nfl refs
  4. That may have been good
  5. This offense has no talent save Fields
  6. SF isn't that good, at least not with Lance at QB. Lance is bad
  7. If I look at the schedule and think we will be 1-1 I feel hopeful If I watch this game I feel jerseyfan was 100% right and David is an idiot I'm leaning to the latter. The lack of offensive talent sucks
  8. HAHAHAHAHA
  9. No, they need the O to put up points. GB doesn't have a WR to speak of
  10. his analysis is believable, I can't deny that. but if you close your eyes to the video, it's easy to think he's talking about soccer. I guess I'm not up to speed with how popular the NFL is in England..or English....or for ex-patriot British living in the US also...anyone else nervous for tonight? I desperately want the Bears to win this Anectodally, a Bears message board I post on has two or three long time Brits who became Bears fans in the 80s. I think it's always had its niche for fans, but the access to tape and info allows a very dedicated person to close the technical knowledge gap in the past decade (in a way a 80s or 90s English person couldn't). I get it. I don't disagree with anything he's presenting, his accent just threw me for a loop
  11. That was horseshit
  12. He's better to listen to than most if these YouTube film guys. I like how he points out the holds, which happen on every play and refs just call them at their leisure. But this fellow is like hmmmm isn’t that holding? Why yes. Yes it is. his analysis is believable, I can't deny that. but if you close your eyes to the video, it's easy to think he's talking about soccer. 13. The British accent throws me off
  14. what made the Pettis TD special is 1) Pettis just sat down in the zone when the play blew up while the other WR's kept moving and 2) Fields athletic ability to avoid getting tackled, pivot and play catch with Pettis. They both really deserve a lot of credit for how they handled the break down. Fields lobbed that throw....all Pettis had to do was get under it, but credit Fields for finding him. i do think Fields locks on to receivers and holds the ball more then I'd like, but I also feel that is something he can grow out of with more playing time and learning defenses as well as his own offense. He doesn't seem to linger as long as he did last year, at least that's my impression from last Sunday and the last preseason game Nitpicky but Pettis didn't exactly sit down in the end zone... he found a wide open window when the DBs near him started cheating towards Fields anticipating a scramble. It was a defensive breakdown but he did a good job recognizing that and finding an open spot. Also he caught it at the 30 and made a pretty nice run with minimal blocking to get into the end zone so he had to do more than just get under the ball and catch it. Pettis did exactly what he should have done, when the play broke down he sat in a part of the field that left him wide open. is that better? but I think they were playing a zone defense......nitpicky or not

  19. where is everyone
  20. Leatherwood is sick? https://apple.news/Awva3bM3URSmgFYS7V6C56A
  21. the Lions will always have the Browns to point at in terms of who the most embarrassing team is, and I'm not sure they aren't wrong
  22. While I expect the Packers to be better against us then they were against Vikings, I can also squint and see them not being as good as they were last year. Adams would have been a huge loss for any team and I think Rodgers won't be able to replace him easily. Hopefully the Bears D takes advantage of their growing pains and wr search and Fields builds off his last half. If that happens, this could be a fun game for us Sky-high completely unreasonable homer take : Bears 27 Packers 23
  23. After the first missed one (2nd TD iirc), I'm still a tad shocked they didn't go for two after the third TD I plugged it into the Ben Baldwin decision bot and it only likes the 2 pt very very slightly (by a +0.2 wp). https://rbsdm.com/stats/fourth_calculator/ 2.1 wp is what I got. Still, you knew the field wasn't in great condition especially for kickers (see the towel foul) so why not try a 2pt? i mean in the end, it doesn't matter but I would have loved to see that o-line road grater the SF d-line into bleachers one last time for the day
  24. Think he was psyched out by the field too. He just physically looked like he didn't want to be out there. After the first missed one (2nd TD iirc), I'm still a tad shocked they didn't go for two after the third TD
