Do everything in your power to make sure he doesn't grow up a Cubs fan if you truly love him. So who should I turn him onto? Pirates. At least then he doesn't get his hopes up and you don't have to deal with his team beating the Cubs much.
Not sure if it is accurate but when I saw that replay I immediately saw flashes of Fred McGriff in my head. A tall, left-hander who just golfed one out with a huge elongated swing. I didn't get to see much of McGriff and I'm not sure if his swing looked like that but that was the thought I got.
Yeah it got me for a sec. Thought he had it down the right field line but then saw that it was actually right-center and figured it didn't have enough.
Cubbie Bum was having a lot of problems with the cards/reds game which he should have been able to see with no problem earlier. There must be something odd going on today. Yeah that got fixed after I called them. She said it was the same for her down in Columbia and she would send a report to corporate. About 20-30 minutes later there was a blip and then it switched over.
means you are blacked out of the Reds/Cards and Sox/Indians. Mostly yes. I;m not sure where you are but if you are blacked out of the other Chicago team then you are likely to be blacked out of the Cubs.
Not sure but I don't know how the opposing teams pitcher affects Gallardo unless you are talking about Gallardo's hitting or the arbitrary stat of wins.
I understand the logic, but are they really? I mean there are still far more games that aren't broadcast nationally that should be more than enough to make the providers feel inclined to pick up the regional stations. I suppose there's a small amount of people that would be satisfied with just seeing the national games if they could, but would complain if they got neither (the ones the national networks show and all of the ones the regional station shows)... but I can't imagine that group of people to be very large.... I don't know why they couldn't just blackout people who are in the area that get the local channel on basic cable. If you are outside the area that gets the local channel you should be able to watch the national broadcast because otherwise there is no way to watch it.
Never really looked at his stats. But he looks primed to be a star. OPSed over .938 last year and hit 21 HR's in just 314 at-bats. Given a 550 at-bat season he would have hit .293 with .375 OBP, 37 HR's, 77 RBIs, 79 runs and 18 SB's.
