    I think the Cubs will be better then a lot of people expect. All I said was that I was watching the Cardinals game. No what you did was ask how the Cubs are doing when you are obviously on the internet so you can obviously look up the score yourself or just read the last few pages of the game thread that you posted in.

    The best strategy against Marmol is to just not swing. You can't hit any of his pitches if he is on. They all move wayyyy too much.

    A friend of mine has recommended it as the official Grabow nickname. I feel like we can do better. The only other somewhat obvious one is Grabage as in garbage but Grablow is better.

    He's a little below average. Maybe im' crazy, but I think Aramis is a damn good 3rd basemen defensively and Baker!!! How about you look up (he's not damn good and most people know that).

    So I tuned it when it was 3-2 just after the 2-run shot. Since I have tuned in I have seen 2 Cubs HR's and Z kicking butt. I would like to credit myself with the current comeback.

    Eh... based on what? 2009 and 2005 are all Lee has on Aramis. I would say they are a wash. I would have been with you and said Aramis but then I actually looked it up. Lee has a higher OPS with the Cubs than Aramis and they both came around the same time (Aramis had half year in 2003, Lee started in 2004). Starting in '04 Aramis has a better OPS by a 3-2 margin with a wash in '07. Aramis has been extremely consistent while Lee has had some ridiculously good years and some mediocre ones but overall Lee has the slightly higher OPS (.923-.909).

    Who did? I pointed out that he has zero confidence based on his body language. People with no confidence don't tend to come out of slumps.

    That earthquake in Haiti? Piniella's fault. Yep because that is the exact same thing. Soto is sucking no doubt about it and he deserves blame for it but he is not the only one who is at fault. Benching a young, struggling player after just two games blows up his confidence and in many cases causes him to suck more and never get out of it.

    I love it. Lou has completely ruined Soto's confidence. He strikes out and immediately drops his head and slowly walks back to the dugout.
