    you are right the blue looks good and its beyond me why New Era would pick red for a team that has very little red in its overall uniform. New Era markets to the "gangster" crowd. Its more than a little ironic that they make hats in so many "gang colors"...     Im not going to go back and search because i dont have a lot of time but Lou needs to be fired before he injures someone's arm. He is leaving them out there way too long

    So i wonder what Lou's excuse tonight will be if we lose. Something to the effect that its "cold out and hard to hit and the picther has the advantage" I just find it funny that the team from South Florida is less affected thus far than the Cubs.

    Making an error is one thing. It happens to everybody. What pisses me (and most people) off is the lack of hustle. And I'm not saying Castro is like that all the time or even most of the time. and he's certainly not the only one on this team guilty of loafing it out there. But lack of hustle is inexcusable. I agree, i just tell myself he is a 20 year old kid and that this is really a huge deal for anyone, let alone someone who cant even legally drink in the US. Definitely. I'm sure he knows what he did wrong. He's going to make plenty of mistakes. We just have to hope that he learns from them. im sure he will, the only way he wont is if our witless manager wont let him...

    Doubtful. All the language coming from the organization indicates he's playing full time. This is all part of the learning curve. And hopfully it stays that way because this would get someone else benched for a week, then 1 ab and another week on the bench.

    i really dont think Ricketts will allow a trade of any talent down in the minors to be honest. He has said all along that the farm will be a huge part of his ownership and i just cant see him saying well Jim trade away, hak ju lee, jackson (both) or vitters for mediocre talent at the trade deadline. I can totally see Lee, Lilly etc being traded for prospects though.
