    Time for the Rays to go get 'em, but I had a feeling going in that if it was Sox/Rays, the Sox win, but Rays/Twins, the Rays would win.

    If he hits a gapper it will more than likely be at least 2 since there would be 2 outs possibly and 2 on with great speed. 4 guys have to reach for him to even sniff the plate. I was confused on where we were in the order, I guess

    I have a feeling that the rest of this game will be a lot of the Tigers trying to hit home runs early in counts to pad stats and go home early.

    The chances of the makeup game just went down slightly. The Royals have decided to scratch Zach Grienke from his final start of the year. He hasn't been that great, but I sure like the Twins chances a lot better against Duckworth than Grienke. I still think that the Sox have to play that final game against the Tigers, but this lowered the odds a bit.

    I agree, but i also feel like we need to win 2 games just so that they don't come in with too much confidence against us.

    I just finished an argument with a friend of mine who said, "this song will cost us another 25 years." I can't believe that A) some people really believe in curses (but by now i have to accept that fact) and B) someone could actually find anything in this song that could be seen as a blasphemic move such as having Bernie Mac in the booth or some of the others (if you are someone who buys into curses that is). I just wanted to see if anyone else had run across people who have made comments like this.

    It is great, allowing people to do their best and achieve while not being held down by socialist rules that would dictate a certain degree of success for individuals.

    It is ridiculous that you do a draw on one day (electronically mind you) and then it takes 3 full days already to do the notifications (electronically mind you).

    Of the teams out there, that is definitely the worst case scenario. I would like the Mets or Dodgers, but since Milwaukee is incapable of winning games, I think that it is safe to say that we will face philly or new york.

    I agree. I knew that this would happen with him, I am just surprised that he lasted this long before falling apart.

    What choice do they have? They have what 9 games left? I don't think that this is the dumbest move, but the previous overuse was stupid. You have to go for broke here because they are in a must win position.

    Why is it great that Theriot is under .300? Lou should relegate Theriot to pinch hitting after we clinch for the rest of the regular season. He is definitely beginning to fade big time and he needs to be fresh in the playoffs.

    NLCS? What makes you think they're going to get past the Cubs/Phillies/Mets? That's the gamble that I will take. I also don't believe that they will be playing the Cubs in the first round, personally.

    Just snagged 4 for the first NLCS game. I am hoping that these could be sold for enough to put a dent in potential Cubs tickets

If this happens, the last 5 days of the season are gonna be brutal Or we just take care of business and those last games, particularly the Houston game, are meaningless and we can let a Juan Mateo/Les Walrond type start the final game (I know they are both gone, but you get my point.)
