I love how smug these thread titles sound, even though they're genuinely curious subjects. I just imagine rival fans viewing our board to see how we're reacting to all this and just getting super pissed at how smug they think we are. The armchair GM in me assumes it's more beneficial to wait in the event that someone who is not on the 40-man steps up this year and proves worthy of keeping on the 40-man roster and they make the 60-day transition near or in the offseason to protect that new shiny prospect from the Rule 5 draft.
