They are the Diamondbacks AA affiliate. I will be taking care of their videography. They have a computer system set up where I'll log every pitch so it can be easily accessed by the coaches and players in the future for reference. It's pretty awesome. I sit out in CF and track the plays. It's a pretty archaic looking piece of software, but the expansiveness of it is pretty detailed. Basically whenever I log a pitch, it logs it for that at bat, and when that at bat is over and it's all transfered and nice, coaches can open up the software go to the at bat, click on the pitch in the count and a video will pop up of that pitch. It's pretty cool. Also, I got to watch them play the Lookouts tonight. Jarrod Parker vs. Andrew Lambo... was rather uneventful. Parker looked sharp to begin the game, 4 K's in 2IP, but only ended up with 5 total through 6 IP or so. Lambo didn't do much, think he got a single and that's it. But yeah, that's my job now. It doesn't pay a whole lot, but I don't really care, I've been wanting this type of job for years now (baseball videographer). Didn't even know it existed until a few weeks ago, luckily I knew a guy who knew the President of the Bay Bears. And since it's minor league ball, I also havwe to do lots of grunt work along with everyone else. I spent the postgame picking up fireworks debris from the outfield. Glamorous! It's all good though, I really dig it. Also, there's like 6 or 7 Cubs fans in the front office. They were jokingly upset when I told them I was a Cubs fan, said they should start screening and not hiring people if they are Cubs fans, lol. Just wanted to share. I'm pumped
