If you came up to me at the beginning of the season and asked me if I thought Carlos Silva's ERA had a better chance at being under 4.00 or over 6.00, I'd probably go with the latter, and the odds would probably agree with me. He's been great for us. Too bad his terrible track record still hurts his trade value. He's technically only owed $10M through the end of next season to whoever has him if I'm reading Cot's correctly ($4M rest of this year, $6M next year), which for a guy who is putting up these numbers is very reasonable, but I doubt GM's around the league trust this performance. I'm sure we couldn't get anything of real value for him without having to eat more salary
