  1. I feel like any time a batter assumes he's drawn ball four before ball four being called, they call it a strike just to be assholes. That was so [expletive] obviously ball four
  2. Junior Lake base hit http://i.imgur.com/MTXzH.gif
  3. Junior Lake with a K. Meanwhile... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EEVx74erMI8/TrHDtU9j-2I/AAAAAAAAAtM/EMQdYqqeW8M/s1600/earth+rotating+gif.gif
  4. Also, I'm not blaming you David if thats what you're implying, you just have the source of the reason as your avatar
  5. I agree. He spells his name with a "y" in his Twitter handle. He's Javy until he says otherwise (i.e. Mike/Giancarlo Stanton). Also this is based off that image. Is there any proof he even wrote that? And for that matter, who the [expletive] let him tag his name on the dugout wall? INB4 "He does whatever the [expletive] he wants" dude, i'm pretty sure that is just some dirt all over the wall that he wrote in I DEMAND DNA EVIDENCE AND AN UPDATED TWITTER HANDLE
  6. Because the image in David's sig he's sitting next to his named spelled "Javi" even though there's no proof he actually did that or calls himself that

  8. It drives the women here in Chicago crazy
  9. I don't even need the visuals to laugh my ass off at that quote
  10. Because much like avatars, they help me identify the poster before even reading their name. I can immediately start reading the content knowing exactly who is writing it. Example: Every time I see Melvin Mora talking about [hugging] his wife in the mouth, I know it's Bob Sanders
  11. http://www.bleachernation.com/2014/08/05/marlins-designate-pitcher-jacob-turner-for-assignment-leading-to-interesting-questions/
  12. Because of this I'm calling him Javy. Sorry guys. If the man calls himself Javy, I'm calling him Javy.
  13. That FO is a mess. Sorry not sorry, San Diego.
  14. Yeah, they're the only team in the way and they have as less to lose as the Cubs do.
  15. Can Justin Grimm get sent back to the minors? EDIT: Eh, he's okay on this team at the moment I suppose. Yeah, send Parker back. Sorry Blake.
  16. Is there any website that tells you how many more options a player has?
  17. I'd still rather have him than Edwin Jackson
  18. Same. I know he's been bad this year, but the dude is still only 23 years old. He was victim of Detroit and Miami's awful farm system management, IMO. Only thing about him is he's always had questions about the durability of his shoulder. But if he costs next to nothing I don't see why not take the risk on someone with his pedigree and youth.
  19. DID SOMEONE MENTION CASTRO AND THE DL IN THE SAME SENTENCE?!?!?!?!?! http://i.imgur.com/JB01Y6E.gif
  20. I think it's Rougned Odor actually but that's ridiculous that Harper is still that young. It is, indeed, Rougned Odor. And it's not really even close. 2/4/94. Seems like a pretty egregious error to make in a statement like that. It's also not tough information to figure out.
  21. It's not that, it's that the majority of Castro's defensive miscues have been on throwing errors, and I figured moving him further away from 1B isn't going to help him that much more. I know he has a strong arm, but I've always assumed his accuracy was pretty sub par. Plus his range would play well at 2B. Meanwhile I've assumed Javy needed to work on his glove while his arm was basically a howitzer, hence why his defensive profile works better at 3B than 2B (in my head anyways). To be honest I'm not too familiar with the primary concerns of the Javy's defensive game, and just basing this off what I remember from his scouting profile around his first season in pro ball.
  22. Then what do Brett Jackson and Josh Bitters feel like? Like Kurt Russell in The Thing
