Yeah, looking back at all the guys we could've had who have gone on to great productive careers, I can't help but wonder if they'd have those careers coming up through one of the worst player development systems in the league
Castillo will sign a major league contract and they have nothing to play for in September so why not? Get him reps at the level he'll start next season, not sure what the harm would be. Plus he's 27 isn't he? He's not some young buck who needs seasoning in the minors. Might as well play him during a time when everyone else is getting their cup of coffee.
