  1. that's an odd response at this point Kinda apropos given his name
  2. No, those are cool. Soriano is ho hum. If they can get him at a bargain, by all means go for it, but if he's gonna insist on getting paid like a closer like it's been rumored for the last several months it'll be a waste of money, because I really don't think he's all that good anymore. He'll probably be a league average reliever at best, IMO. If he's getting paid like $3-$4 million or something to do that, okay. But if he's asking for $8-$10 mil, gross.
  3. Damn, if Fowler didn't think that was gonna go foul he might've been able to beat it out had he ran right out of the box
  4. Yup, I'm down to 47,000 now after being at like 65,000 or something.
  5. I don't recall myself or anyone else clamoring for either of them to not be traded for Harper (I guess I missed it), but I know I wanted to ship Baez/Russel & Soler for Stanton after the Samardzija trade.
  6. Stuff isn't his problem, it's his control
  7. I'll always remember when the Cubs FO told Aramis not to hustle on routine ground outs because he had recurring hamstring issues and didn't want to aggravate the injury so they could keep the bat in the lineup, and that was public knowledge, and then the very next play where that happened he didn't hustle down the line, because he was obviously instructed not to, and the Chicago media roasted him for being lazy and not hustling.
  8. He's been hitting 97 pretty consistently all year long. Really...? Be interested in seeing what his average fastball velocity on the season is....I haven't seen every game TBH....but I don't recall him hitting that anytime I did see him.....wouldn't be the 1st time I was wrong though that's for sure. 94.9. Thank you fine sir....slightly higher than I would have guessed for sure.....but not no 97 Bear in mind an average velocity of 94.9 does not mean he never hits 97. He was hitting 97 in spring training. And he routinely hits in most of his outings. I've watched most of the games this year and each time he comes in I've seen him touch 97.
  9. Am I the only one hearing what sounds like a cricket chirping in the booth?
  10. They have pitching machines that can do that
  11. He's been hitting 97 pretty consistently all year long.
  12. That's one of the worst strike 3 calls I've seen this year
  13. All you turds hating on Wada earlier are buttholes.
  14. Let's get one of those totally rad forum arcades so we can compete against each other for supremacy at generic Tetris!
  15. The Cubs losing that ballgame was just karma for the Polanco game that they deserved to lose
  16. Seriously, a QS from Wada here would not be surprising. I'm kind of expecting it.
  17. But screw Rademacher, that guy is a cancer and needs to be stopped
  18. La Stella's injury setback is going to put him out another month, apparently.
