  1. A testament to how bad this game has been was how I was the only person in this thread who reacted to the Rizzo homerun
  2. Those were [expletive] horse [expletive] strike calls oh my [expletive] god [expletive] this ump.
  3. sucks to be you i get to make those both one thing The good news is that there is no wrong choice. The better news is that I can just listen to the game on my phone while I mow the lawn or whatever ok if mowing the lawn is what you're going to do if you do something outside, [expletive] that and just watch the game IMO Well the lawn isn't going to mow itself. But the lawn will be there tomorrow, and witnessing Bryant's first dong of his career live will not... Unless he doesn't hit one, of course
  4. Soler hasn't walked a good deal at the major league level so far, so the walks aren't really a good reason to put him at the top, especially when he and Fowler have essentially the same BB% this season so far. I'm sure it's just Joe shaking things up for the sake of shaking things up and seeing how Soler reacts and all that
  5. I'd have done that trade, too
  6. With the exception of that bases loaded jam, Lester is cruising.
  7. When are the bleachers supposed to get done again? End of May?
  8. Yes, but Didi Gregorius is the reincarnated humanoid fleshbot of Derek Jeter, so it would make sense that he is amazing at utilizing everything this world can throw at him, especially outside pitches. His OPS is 499. I wouldn't use the word amazing anywhere near anything he does at the plate. thatsthejoke.gif When the D-Backs acquired Gregorius they had essentially traded Trevor Bauer for him (who has been awesome this year) and were convinced that Gregorius was the second coming of Derek Jeter.
  9. Seriously, he's halfway down the line and you throw to second?
  10. Yes, but Didi Gregorius is the reincarnated humanoid fleshbot of Derek Jeter, so it would make sense that he is amazing at utilizing everything this world can throw at him, especially outside pitches.
  11. Yes, please.
  12. dego tee Jesus. I've never heard one called that either. I've heard it called a wife beater a million times, but never that.
  13. I think Hendricks' K rate has been assisted by some great framing work by Montero as well. I've seen several of his pitches that are just off the plate be called strikes due to Montero's work. The two of them are a great combination. A guy like Hendricks who doesn't have overpowering stuff needs a guy like Montero to get the most out of his skillset.
