Wow. I would have thought Carter was still playing, but the Hill homer probably is more recent than I'm giving it credit it for. Don't quote me on that though. I barely even remember Carter as a broadcaster, I just seem to have a recollection of folks here having mentioned it was Carter in that video. EDIT: Having listened to it it does sound like Dan Roan. PBP I think is definitely Chip Caray.

I think Brenneman was the PBP guy at the time (or Chip Caray). I think color was Carter. Those were the dark days of Cubs broadcasting

I remember when he showed up as a prospect he drew Miguel Cabrera comparisons due to size and positional trajectory. He was also projected to hit for more power, which we've been seeing this year, but yeah it makes sense that Flores isn't the best defensive SS. I think his long term position is 3B according to the original scouting reports, IIRC.
